CANCELLED! Curling on the Erie Canal
At the Port of Palmyra at the corner of Canal and Division Street. Members of the Rochester Curling Club will share their expertise with the novices of this sport. 3-5pm.

Sorry, the event has been cancelled due to dangerous sub-zero windchill temperatures and blizzard conditions.

February 19
Author Michael Keene discusses his new book:
Question of Sanity: The True Story of Female Serial Killers in 19th Century New York

No charge program at the Alling Coverlet Museum.   All are welcome.  7pm. The Alling Coverlet is at 122 William Street Palmyra, NY  14522.

Historic Palmyra Annual Dinner Fundraiser

The 11th Annual Fundraising Dinner, Steak roast, silent auction, entertainment, door prizes and fun.  Tickets are $25 per person.   All proceeds support the five incredible museums of Historic Palmyra.  Alling Coverlet Museum, 122 William Street, Palmyra. 5:30 pm to 8:00pm.  (315) 597-6981 for tickets and reservations.

Historic Palmyra’s Ice Cream Social

Complimentary tours of all museums with grand opening of new exhibits.  Begin at the Alling Coverlet Museum, 122 William Street, Palmyra.   At 6:30 p.m. and tour until 8:30 p.m.  with ice cream following your tours.  (315) 597-6981. No charge all welcome. This year’s theme’s are Sibyl love the Circus at the Wm. Phelps General Store at 140 Market Street, Wedding Dresses, 19th and 20th century and the 200th year of the death of founder General John Swift.  Also new rooms will be displayed with new murals and lots of amazing stories and artifacts.

Palmyra Pirate Weekend 
Last year we had a record attendance and got lots of great stuff. Come on down and have fun with this event.   

August 8
Historic Palmyra’s Pirate Whitley’s Pirate Den Museums
Live and dead pirates, skulls, and treasurers suitable for the younger and older folks. Stories are told in the Museum yard and free to all by Bloody Mary at 12:30 p.m. and 3:30

Saturday at the Palmyra Historical Museum. All Museums open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at discounted Pirate pricing $1 for each museum with a $3 trail pass.  Children under 10 are free. (315) 597-6981 

August 10-15
Wayne County Fair in Palmyra, NY.   See Historic Palmyra’s booth in Floral Hall and stop for some history information, books, and unique items.   Lots to do and see and of course to eat at this event.

September 19-20
Palmyra Canaltown Days

Museums
open with special discounted price.  Booth uptown and Museums open with special admission prices.  11am to 4 p. On September 12, ghost walk and hunt for 2014  9 p.m. to 11p.m.   $10 per person.  Reservations at (315) 597-6981.  Meet at the Village Park on East Main Street, Palmyra.   

October 10
Sibyl
’s 120th Birthday Party it's on a Friday. Mediums will be in private rooms in the Haunted Wm. Phelps General Store to give you individual readings 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.$20 per person.   Same night…..Group Reading in stead of or in addition to this event for an additional $20 per person  At the Alling Coverlet.  8 pm – 10 p.m.   Phelps General Store, 140 Market Street, Palmyra (315) 597-6981.

October 16-17u
Historic Palmyra’s Famous Cemetery Walk
Description:   Come meet famous and infamous cemetery residents. Use Vienna Street entrance. Approx. 1 hour for each walk beginning at 6:30pm and 8 p.m. 2 shows each night. Price is $10 per person (315) 597-6981.

November 19-21
Historic Palmyra’s Holiday Bazaar

Vendors welcome $25 per table, luncheon, special gifts, antiques and crafts.  No charge for admittance.  Alling Coverlet Museum, 122 William Street, Palmyra. Thursday and Friday: 10am to 5pm with luncheon at 11:30 a.m. until gone (about 1:30 p.m.); Saturday:       10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (315) 597-6981. 

December 5
Homestead Holiday Candlelight House Tour

It was an incredible first year. 4-8pm. Begin at the Phelps Museum and end at the Alling Coverlet Museum with 5 or 6 houses in between. $20 presale tickets and $25 at the door. (315) 597-6981.
