At the Port of Palmyra at the corner of Canal and Division Street. Members of the Rochester Curling Club will share their expertise with the novices of this sport. 3-5pm.

Historic Palmyra Annual Dinner Fundraiser and Silent & Live Auctions

The Annual Fundraising Dinner, steak-roast, silent and live auction, entertainment, door prizes. Presale tickets $25. Day of event unless pre-reserved $30 per person. Allen Hopkins entertainment with Erie Canal songs and multiple instruments. What fun. Don't miss this one. all proceeds support five incredible museums of Historic Palmyra. Historic Palmyra’s Ice Cream Social

Complimentary tours of all museums with grand opening of new exhibits.  Begin at the Alling Coverlet Museum, 122 William Street, Palmyra.   At 6:30 p.m. and tour until 8:30 p.m.  with ice cream following your tours.  (315) 597-6981. No charge all welcome.

Pageant Walk Around the Village

6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Walk where they walked all welcome all welcome – no charge—time for pageant.  Meet at 132 Market Street, Historical Museum.

Archaeological Dig Camp

Pirate bazaar sidewalk sales Main Street and William Street, shops and Alling Gift Shop.


Friday, Aug 7 - Pirate Ghost Walk 8:00 – 10:00 meet at Palmyra Historical Museum 132 Market Street, Palmyra, NY.    Admission $10 per person must have 10 people reserved for walk. 1 hour walk and 1 hour ghost hunting. Call for reservations

Saturday, Aug 8 - Bloody Mary and her den of buccaneers  11-4 p.m. Scavenger hunt and  Pirate Whitley’s Pirate Den.  Special Pirate Pricing $1 per museum with a $3 trail Pass. Children under 12 no charge with parents.

Wayne County Fair
See Historic Palmyra’s booth in Floral Hall and stop for some history information, books, and unique items.   Lots to do and see and of course to eat at this event. Museums open Tuesday through Saturday, 10:30am to 4:30pm.

Ghost Walk

9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. Talk and walk with the spirits in the old cemetery And then in the Wm. Phelps General Store and Historic Palmyra Museum.   Meet at the Palmyra Historical Museum.    $10 per person.

Historic Palmyra’s Murder, Mystery, and Tragedy Tour

8 p.m. to 10 :30 p.m.  This is a walking Tour that will tell you the darker side
of history from 1789 to 1980.   Meet at the Historical Museum at 132 Market St. $15 per person.  Refreshments served.

Canaltown Days Ghost Walk

Meet at Village Main Street Park driveway between The Park and Club Rooms and the Park at 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. end up at the Historical Museum $10 per person.    

September 19-20
Palmyra Canaltown Days

open with special discounted price.  Booth uptown and Museums open with special admission prices.  11am to 4 p. On September 12, ghost walk and hunt for 2014  9 p.m. to 11p.m.   $10 per person.  Reservations at (315) 597-6981.  Meet at the Village Park on East Main Street, Palmyra.   

October 10
’s 120th Birthday Party it's on a Friday. Mediums will be in private rooms in the Haunted Wm. Phelps General Store to give you individual readings 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. $20 per person.   Same night…..Group Reading instead of or in addition to this event for an additional $20 per person  At the Alling Coverlet.  8 pm – 10 p.m.   Phelps General Store, 140 Market Street, Palmyra (315) 597-6981.

October 16-17
Historic Palmyra’s Famous Cemetery Walk
Come meet famous and infamous cemetery residents. Use Vienna Street entrance. Approx. 1 hour for each walk beginning at 6:30pm and 8 p.m. 2 shows each night. Price is $10 per person (315) 597-6981.

November 19-21
Historic Palmyra’s Holiday Bazaar

Vendors welcome $25 per table, luncheon, special gifts, antiques and crafts.  No charge for admittance.  Alling Coverlet Museum, 122 William Street, Palmyra. Thursday and Friday: 10am to 5pm with luncheon at 11:30 a.m. until gone (about 1:30 p.m.); Saturday:       10 a.m. to 2 p.m. (315) 597-6981. 

December 12
Homestead Holiday Candlelight House Tour

It was an incredible first year. 4-8pm. Begin at the Phelps Museum and end at the Alling Coverlet Museum with 5 or 6 houses in between. $20 presale tickets and $25 at the door. (315) 597-6981.
